About this speaker
Fernando is a prominent member of the global legal fraternity and has contributed to the development of the international legal community. He was President of the International Bar Association (IBA) (2009- 2010); He was founder and Chair of the Latin American Forum 1994-1998 and Lex Mundi Chair, 1992 - 1993. He is the academic director of the Lawyers Management Program of the IE Law School, Madrid.
Since 2013, in addition to his responsibilities as Founding Partner of Hoet Pelaez Castillo Duque, Caracas, Venezuela , Fernando provides consultancy services to professional service firms through FPelaez Consulting.
Fernando has received many awards in recognition to his exceptional career granted, among others, by Chambers and Partners, Latin Lawyer, New York City Bar and Caracas Bar.
