Tshepo Shabangu

Tshepo Shabangu is a partner at Spoor & Fisher in South Africa, specializing in domestic and international trade mark registrations, IP due diligence investigations and IP portfolio management. She is the Council representative of the Law Society of South Africa on the IBA Council, and is a past Council member of the Law Society of the Northern Provinces. Tshepo has received a lot of recognition in her legal career and is a recipient of many awards,including the WOZA award for best practicing woman corporate lawyer (IP) 2019, and most recently, was crowned the SAPSA (South African Professional Services Award) law professional of the year 2019/2020. Tshepo was selected by World Intellectual Property Review in its inaugural publication as one of 80 women to be named WIPR’s Influential Women in IP, 2019.
