Jeremy Beard

I am Managing Partner at haysmacintyre, and also a partner in our Professional Institutes & Membership Bodies (PIMBs) group which is dedicated to servicing the business and tax needs of organisations operating in this sector. The group acts for over 100 clients in this sector including national governing bodies of sport, clubs, professional institutions, membership organisations and national trade associations.

I qualified with haysmacintyre in 1990 and became a partner in 1995. My current directorships and outside voluntary roles enable me to better understand my clients' commercial issues and opportunities, as well as providing routine tax, audit and accounting advice. I work closely with haysmacintyre’s specialist tax partners when advising my clients on tax planning opportunities and transactions.

As a regular speaker at sports seminars, I have on-going dialogue with UK Sport, Sport England and the SRA on business matters affecting NGBs and sport as a whole. I am also haysmacintyre’s representative within PARN (the Professional Associations Research Network).

I am also a director of haysmacintyre’s international association, MSI Global Alliance. I attend both the annual worldwide conference and the European conference each year as one of haysmacintyre’s three directors.
